아마존에 원고 업로드

<우리가생각없이식어가는것은아니겠지만,>

오늘, 조금 전에 아마존에 본문 원고와 책 표지를 업로드하였습니다. 이제부터는 아마존 측에서 검토를 할 시간입니다. 딱히 시간을 제한하지는 않고 있네요. 승인 이메일을 받은 후 3일 후부터 아마존 온라인 서점 매장에 오릅니다.

 

다만 영어와 한글 이중 언어 버전으로 출간되는 것이라, 한글을 지원하지 않는 아마존이 어떤 결정을 내릴지 모르겠습니다. 아마존에서 한글 지원을 끝내 거절한다면, 순수하게 영어 버전으로 다시 시도할 생각입니다만, 그런 일이 생기지 않기를 바라고 있습니다.

 

아마존 측이 검토를 하는 시간은 나에게는 기다림의 시간입니다. 책을 자주 출간하는 것을 선호하지 않는 나에게 이번 출간은 6년 만입니다.

 

퇴고와 편집을 하면서 예상보다 많은 시행착오를 경험했습니다. 이번 출간을 계기로 비슷한 일에 대해서는 앞으로 조금 더 유연하게 대처하게 될 것 같습니다.

Today, I uploaded the manuscript and book cover to Amazon just a little while ago. Now it's time for Amazon to review. They don't really specify a deadline for when they'll send an email notification. Once I receive approval, the book will be available in the Amazon online store three days later.

 

However, since it's being published in both English and Korean, I'm not sure what decision Amazon will make since they don't support Korean. If Amazon ultimately rejects Korean support, I plan to proceed with just the English version, but I hope it doesn't come to that.

 

The time Amazon takes to review my manuscript and book cover feels like a period of waiting for me. I'm not someone who prefers frequent publishing, and this release is almost six years in the making for me.

 

During proofreading and editing, I encountered more challenges than expected. I believe this experience will make me more adaptable in handling similar situations in the future.

 

I'm deeply thankful for the support of all my facebook friends.
