[용인 수지 느티나무 도서관 / 휘수]

폭염이 이어지는 나날이다. 가끔 소나기가 쏟아지지만 더위를 가시게 할 정도는 아니다. 오늘도 더위를 피해 카페에 가서 작업을 하려고 했다. 그러다 도서관으로 마음을 바꿨다. 왜냐하면 분위기 좋은 도서관을 발견했기 때문이다.

 

이곳, '느티나무 도서관'은 외관부터 아름답다. 덩쿨 식물들이 외벽을 잠식하고 있어 무언가 고풍스럽고 우아한 분위기다. 내부는 나무 가구들로 아름답게 꾸며져 있다. 창마다 덩쿨 식물이 보이고, 도서관 3층에는 카페 겸 식당도 있다.

 

잔잔한 피아노 음악이 흐른다. 3층 카페에서 샌드위치와 커피를 구매한 후 2층으로 내려와 작업 중이다. 아이, 좋아라.

 

이 도서관에 입장하자 마자 안내테이블 사서를 찾아 사인된 나의 시집 두 권을 기증했다. 이제 이 도서관에서도 내 시집을 읽을 수가 있다. 작업 도중에 소나기가 내렸다. 덩쿨 식물이 잠식한 창을 통해 빗줄기를 보았다. 아이, 아름다워라.

The days of scorching heat continue. Occasionally, there are showers, but not enough to alleviate the heat. Today, I planned to escape the heat and work at a café. However, I changed my mind and decided to go to the library instead, because I discovered a charming library.

 

This place, 'Zelkova Library,' is beautiful from the outside. Ivy plants are creeping up the exterior walls, it's old-fashioned and elegant atmosphere. The interior is beautifully decorated with wooden furnishings. Ivy plants are visible through the windows, and on the third floor of the library, there is a cafe and restaurant.

 

Soft piano music fills this place. I purchased a sandwich and coffee from the café on the third floor and am now working on the second floor. Ah, it's nice

 

Upon entering this library, I found the reception desk and donated two signed copies of my poetry collection. Now my books can be read here too. A shower came down while I was working. Through the windows overgrown with ivy, I watched the raindrops fall. Ah, it's beautiful.
